EEA online services are accessible through the website www.eea.gr by clicking on the banner e-chamber (see Image 1) at the top (see Image 2), below the highlights of the week.

PART A: ONLINE PRE-REGISTRATION WITH EEA OF SOLE PROPRIETORSHIPS

You can apply for pre-registration of your business through our online services by clicking on the link:  Application for pre-registration of individual business with the Chamber (see Image 3), provided you have a scanner (Note for those who do not have a scanner), following the instructions on the page.

The supporting documents required are the following:

Signed Application Form (produced upon filling in the fields with the applicant’s data),

  • IDor Passport and
  • Residence permit, where it concerns a non-EU national or EU national outside the Schengen Treaty.

The Pre-registration Certificate is sent by the Chamberfree of charge, on the same day, unless pre-approval of a Distinctive Title (DT) is requested.

In case the application for pre-registration requests the pre-approval of a DT, after checking the registration of DT, it is sent via the automated sending system (email: [email protected]),  Electronic Payment Code EPC) – Dias Barcode against the amount of € 10.24. The Pre-registration Certificate is sent to the beneficiary after 12:00 o’clock noon the following day of its payment.

Note If you do not have a scanner you can download to your mobile an application that converts your documents to pdf (the most widely known is Camscanner)

 

PART B: ONLINE REGISTRATION WITH EEA OF SOLE PROPRIETORSHIPS

 

After the declaration of commencement of works at the competent Tax Office, you can apply for the final registration of the individual business in the registry of the Chamber and in the General Commercial Register (GEMI) through our online services link: Application for individual businesses registration(see image 4), following the instructions on the page.

The supporting documents required are the following:

  • Signed Application Form (produced when filling in the fields with the applicant’s details) and must select Yes or No in the intergraded text of the Consent Declaration.
  • Commencement of Works attestation by the Tax Office (and Modification of Works Attestation if an activity has been added or a change of seat has taken place after the commencement),
  • ID or Passport (irrespective of whether it was submitted during the pre-registration) and
  • Residence permit, where it concerns a non-EU national or EU national outside the Schengen Treaty.

After the submission of the supporting documents to the e-chamber, the online application is processed by EEA services and e-mails are sent which have attached thereto the payment IDs, the deadline for their payment and the PIN of the online services of the registry of the business.

C’ EXCEPTIONS

It is not possible to electronically register sole proprietorships with activities of intermediaries (insurers,coordinators, brokers etc.), real estate brokers and audiovisual works producers (with KAD 59110000 – Film, video and television production activities),because EEA issues a relevant license and a Solemn Declaration is signed. At the same time the registration supporting documents for the profession must be controlled by EEA. In this case, the registration application should be submitted to counters 1 – 7 of our central office (44 Panepistimiou, 10679, Athens) or our branch (227 Gounari, 16674, Ano Glyfada).

In case the required documents are submitted by a third party to the counter of the Chamber, an authorization must be submitted to EEA certified for the authenticity of its signature by a KEP or Public Authority.
